Park Maintenance Worker

The Frankfort Park District is currently accepting applications for positions as Seasonal Park Maintenance staff. This work is primarily performed outdoors and the hours will be adjusted by based on inclement weather. Regular work week is typically 3-4 days per week, M-F 7:00 am-3:30 pm, occasional weekend or evening hours.

Positions requires physical labor which might involve but is not limited to general landscaping and parks and ground maintenance, facility maintenance, garbage pick-up, some heavy lifting, and maintains outdoor grounds owned by the Frankfort Park District. Qualified applicants must possess a valid driver license and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening. Hourly rate is $10/hr.

Part-Time Dance Coordinator/Instructor

The Frankfort Park District runs an exciting and popular dance program that runs September to May with Summer classes.  We have an opening for a part-time Dance Coordinator/Instructor to oversee all areas of the dance program.  This includes but not limited to supervising dance instructors, choreographing dance routines, holding auditions, ordering of dance costumes, scheduling and organizing competitions, attending competitions, planning the Spring dance recital and other duties as needed.

The best candidates will have prior experience in all genres of Dance. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in organizing and planning dance recitals and competitions.  The candidate will be motivated, energetic, have a strong professional background in their artistic discipline, experience teaching children ages 2-18 and experience in rehearsing and directing performances.  Must be able to communicate well with parents.  Prior teaching experience is preferred.

Monday-Thursday: Late Afternoon-Evening and Saturday: Morning hours included.
