JOB ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Summer Day Camp Counselors/Program Coordinator

The Frankfort Park District is accepting applications from college students interested in working 30-40 hours per week as Summer Day Camp Counselors and Day Camp Program Coordinator. Must be 18 years of age or older. General Camp hours will be Monday – Fridays 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Before Camp hours will be 7:00-9:00 am.  After Camp hours will be 4:00-6:00 pm. This is a summer position from June 10 – August 2. Applicants must be available for the entire camp scheduled dates. Applicants must possess experience working with children, planning and implementing children’s programs, and enjoy outdoor activities. Applicants must be available to work the Fourth of July Celebration held on July 4.

Part-Time Prairie Care Staff (Before & After School Care)

The Frankfort Park District is seeking part time staff for the Prairie Care Before/After School Program.  Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have an interest in working with children ages 5-11. Morning Prairie Care hours are 6:15-8:45 am. Afternoon Prairie Care hours are 2:30-6:30 pm.

Maintenance Worker

The Frankfort Park District is accepting applications for two Buildings & Grounds maintenance position. General landscaping & maintenance work; experience with hand tools a plus, snow removal , year round part-time position. Work indoors and outside. Hours per week vary but are @20-30 hrs. per week. Shift hours are  7 am-3:30 pm, M-F, weekends as needed.  Valid driver license required. $12/hr. Part-Time Building Supervisor

The Frankfort Park District is currently accepting applications for part-time Building Supervisors (to be kept on file as openings become available). Must be 18 years of age or older. Part-Time Building Custodian

The Frankfort Park District is accepting applications for two part-time Building Custodians. Positions are @ 19 hrs/week. One position is 2.5 days/week hours are 6:30 am-3:00 pm, weekends as needed. Second position is M-F 5 days/wk. after 4 pm, 3.5 hrs/day. Starting pay is $10-12/hr.  Candidates must possess knowledge of custodian duties, positive attitude, strong work ethic, and be eager to serve the public.  Key functions include but are not limited to sweeping, mopping, restroom care, trash removal, vacuuming, dusting, glass care, facility set-ups, and light grounds maintenance including snow removal.

Part-Time Seasonal Buildings & Grounds Staff – Evenings/Weekends

The Frankfort Park District is currently accepting applications for Part-Time Seasonal Buildings & Grounds staff for evening/weekends. This work is primarily performed outdoors and the hours will be adjusted by management based on inclement weather.  These positions require physical labor which might involve but is not limited to general landscaping and parks and ground maintenance, facility maintenance, snow removal, garbage pick-up, some heavy lifting, and maintains outdoor grounds owned by the Frankfort Park District

Shifts would be 2 evenings per week and weekend shifts, 20-30 hours per week.  Qualified applicants must possess a valid driver license and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening. Hourly rate is $10/hr.
