Tree Work scheduled for Founders Center

Maintenance to the trees at the Founders Center is scheduled for this spring. Due to the ongoing loss of branches in mature trees located at the Founders Center, it has been determined two trees will be removed and others will be pruned. Inspection of the trees revealed that two of the large ash trees have significant rot. The ash trees had received preventative treatment for emerald ash borers in the past and there is not a current infestation. The trees on the northwest lawn need pruning to remove dead branches and trimming to balance the crown of the tree canopy.  The work will be completed this spring.
