BLEACHER BUMS AT THE OIL LAMP THEATER
In the bleachers at Chicago’s Wrigley Field, die hard Cub fans root for their team. The group includes a rabid cheerleader, a blind man who follows the game by transistor radio, a bathing beauty, a nerd, and various other bleacher denizens. As the game proceeds, they bet among themselves on every conceivable event, go out for frosty malts or beers, try to pick up the bathing beauty and, occasionally, watch the game. Complimentary peanuts and cookies are served in the theatre and guests may bring their own bottle of alcoholic beverage to be served on site. Lunch will be at Hackney’s on Lake -Lunch Menu TBA.

First stop in Galena will be for a delicious lunch on your own. Then we will check into our hotel for 2 nights with time to freshen up before heading into downtown Galena for shopping & tastings. Dinner tonight will be at Vinnie Vinucci's before being entranced by the illusionist PT Murphy. After breakfast the following morning we will enjoy a guided tour with a step on guide including a stop at the U.S. Grant Home State Historic Site and the Historic Market House. Then get ready for the chills and thrills of the Galena Ghost Tour. Dinner tonight will be at Diamond Jo Casino before trying your hand at lady luck with a little gaming before returning back to the hotel. After breakfast this morning we will check out of our hotel and head for home with a stop at the Apple River Fort State Historic Site, lunch on your own and a tour of Massbach Ridge Winery with wine tasting. Join us as the resourceful Figaro gets ready to marry his lovely Susanna – and endeavors to get his fiancée to the altar with her virtue still intact! His boss, the Count, has designs on Susanna and sees no reason to let her escape his noble snare, even if it means breaking the heart of his own long-suffering bride. Elvis Presley would be turning 81 years old on January 8 so join in celebrating with Rick Saucedo- a musician, singer, songwriter, actor, Elvis Presley tribute artist, John Lennon tribute artist, and Paul McCartney tribute artist. Rick had an increasing interest in music and he had always appreciated the music of Elvis Presley, going back to his junior high band in the ‘60s. In 1972, one particular song caught his attention, “Burning Love”, which turned out to become the main catalyst for Saucedo and began the creation of his tribute performances to Elvis Presley. He has been performing longer than Elvis himself did and decades later, Saucedo is still considered one of the top tributes to Elvis and has never stopped entertaining.
