CULINARY ARTS AT WHEAT CAFÉ - Glen Ellyn, IL
The Wheat Café is a student-operated restaurant in the Culinary Arts and Hospitality Center of College of DuPage specializing in seasonal, contemporary American cuisine. We'll have a wonderful lunch and a tour to learn about the experiences of budding chefs and hospitality workers. The menu provides a choice of soup, salad and three entrees. Desserts can be purchased and taken home from the bakery on premises after our lunch and tour. After leaving, we will travel to nearby Yorktown Shopping Center.

Please join us as we travel again for lunch to The Dining Room restaurant, one of the top-rated culinary school restaurants at Kendall College. White tablecloths, impeccable service, a view of the city skyline and, best of all, excellent food! You will enjoy a unique, three-course meal prepared and served by culinary art students. Following lunch, we will travel to the Merchandise Mart to browse and shop on the first two floors of this Chicago landmark.

Take a trip to Central Street for an eventful day full of exquisite treats and unique shopping. We will visit The Great Harvest Bread Company for some fresh samples, The Spice House featuring hand-blended seasonings, as well as other known merchants. Lunch will be served at The Globe Cafe. Our final stop at IL Nut and Candy in Skokie is sure to please all of your “sweet” desires. Gather some gifts for that someone special or yourself!

Join us for the 51st Annual Blueberry Festival in South Haven, Michigan; the self-proclaimed Blueberry Capital of the world. We will enjoy a day filled with blueberry treats, arts & crafts show, entertainment, shopping and much more! One of the favorite highlights of the festival are the interesting foods like blueberry coffee, blueberry barbeque sauce, blueberry bratwurst, blueberry spaghetti, and much more! ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE MUSICAL
Drury Lane Theatre, Oak Brook Terrace, IL
This Tony Award winning musical features the unlikeliest of heroes: a quirky yet charming cast of outsiders for whom a spelling bee is the one place where they can stand out and fit in at the same time. Prior to the performance, we will enjoy a full course luncheon including a garden salad, a choice of two entrees either Chicken Breast Marsala or Roast Strip Loin together with a chef’s selection of garden vegetables, potato, fresh baked bread, dessert and a choice of one beverage.
