Vintage Fashion Show Luncheon
Joliet, IL

Join us for a unique fashion show luncheon where we will dine and enjoy a time capsule of fashion and elegance with many beautifully preserved "classics' spanning 120+ years. A perfect combination of history and fashion!  A full-lunch will be served featuring Apricot Thyme Chicken with Chef’s Choice of starch and vegetable and will include tossed garden salad, warm rolls, dessert and coffee or tea.

Anderson Japanese Gardens
Rockford, IL

Visit these remarkable grounds of peace and tranquility. You will find beauty and inspiring scenic gardens that will leave you speechless.   A guided tour will take us along paths, streams, and bridges through the strolling gardens. Please wear comfortable walking shoes .Good mobility is essential for these walking tours.  Benches are located throughout the garden for your relaxation and meditation.   A level terrain tour is also an option.  Tour lasts approximately 90 minutes.  We will enjoy our lunch in the lower level of the on-site garden restaurant.

The Rat Pack - Paramount Theatre
Aurora, IL

World-renowned actor and comedian Buddy Hackett was a lifelong friend of the Rat Pack. Together, those five guys were the epitome of cool, ruling the Las Vegas strip and creating a smooth style that’s still emulated today. Now, years later, Buddy’s son Sandy Hackett and his crew of crooners are bringing the boys’ timeless Vegas show to the Paramount stage, reminding everyone that the Rat Pack is still one of the hottest acts around. Critics have been saying it for years; with Sandy’s personal connection to Frank, Dean, Sammy and Joey, this show is the closest you’ll ever get to seeing the boys back under the stage lights. Before the show, we will have dinner at a local Aurora restaurant (TBD).

18th Annual St. Charles Fine Art Show

The award-winning, highly regarded show features the work of 100 juried artists in various mediums including watercolor, oil, sculpture, photography, jewelry, ceramics, fiber, wood, and glass, which are exhibited and available for sale during the event.  There will also be live music throughout the event and free trolley tours.   Located in the heart of beautiful Downtown St. Charles, along the Fox River, there is plenty of time to visit the many fine restaurants and shops, as well as numerous parks that St. Charles has to offer.

My Fair Lady

Experience the movie you loved with Rex Harrison and Audrey Hepburn as a wonderful live musical performance held at the beautiful Cahn Auditorium in Evanston. Lerner and Loewe’s joyous and witty battle of the sexes is one of Broadway’s most dazzling and beloved musicals. This show’s wonderful music will be performed by a full orchestra and will feature favorites such as I Could Have Danced All Night, Get Me to the Church on Time and many others. Prior to the performance, we will enjoy lunch at a theatre-goers favorite, Prairie Moon Restaurant, which highlights All-American dining. Crossroads to Cabernet

Join us on this unique adventure as we discover Effingham, a hidden gem in southern Illinois. On our way, we will stop at the wonderful Pekara Bakery for a chance to indulge in some delicious baked goods and beverages. We will then journey on for a visit to the “Cross at the Crossroads,” which towers the height of a 20-story building and will feature a private walking tour and time for reflection at this beautiful landmark. We will then have a wonderful lunch at Niemerg’s, a family-owned and highly regarded local restaurant for over 35 years featuring homemade salads, entrees and their delicious homemade pies. We are returning to Navy Pier again to board the Spirit of Chicago, but this time for a unique music-filled afternoon of live Cabaret entertainment from show tunes to jazz standards. Pierogi Fest, the pride of Whiting, is an opportunity for the residents to celebrate their heritage while poking a little fun at themselves at the same time. Where else can you see grown women dressed up like our grandmothers (bushas, as we say) in housecoats and babushkas?  You'll also see life-size polish pastries and goodies walking and talking waiting to take a picture with you.  Say Hi to Mr. Pierogi and Ms. Paczki while you're there!

Bristol Renaissance Faire

Once you enter the portal gates, you travel back in time to the year 1574, and you've walked right into an exciting village festival day.  It's time to eat, drink and be merry!  Visitors can take a rollicking romp through Elizabethan England, complete with 16th Century games, rides, arts, crafts, food, music and one-of-a-kind encounters with a spectacular cast of characters. Nearly 200 artisans display their wares in the Bristol Faire Marketplace. Potters, glass blowers, jewelers and forgers busily go about their work, as shoppers discover rare finds around every corner. The Faire boasts a beautiful 30-acre site with open-air stages featuring Swordfighters, Minstrels and Jesters. Meet Robin Hood or Queen Elizabeth, in person! Here’s Johnny:
The Making of The Tonight Show

Chicago, IL

This unique bus trip will take us to the Museum of Broadcast Communications for a tour of an exclusive exhibit of Carson memorabilia. Johnny Carson, the undisputed King of Late Night TV, signed off in 1992, but this gallery will feature items on display from Johnny’s personal collection including photographs, artifacts and costumes from his memorable characters. This exhibition and private tour will provide a first glimpse behind the curtain of this immensely popular entertainer. Following our tour, we will enjoy lunch at the museum in the “Green Room” and will feature a catered box lunch featuring Turkey & Cheddar or Ham & Swiss with chips, fruit, pickle and a gourmet cookie from Einstein Bros. Twelve Angry Jurors at The Oil Lamp Theatre
Glenview, IL

A 19-year old man has just stood trial for the fatal stabbing of his father.  Each juror reveals his or her own character as the various testimonies are examined, the murder is re-enacted and a new murder threat is born before their eyes. Tempers get short, arguments grow heated, and the men and women become 12 angry jurors.  Complimentary peanuts and cookies are served in the theatre and guests may bring their own bottle of alcoholic beverage to be served on site.  Lunch will be at Hackney’s on Lake Street.
