Chelsea Intermediate

Chelsea Intermediate is the new home of 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students in School District 157-C. The single building actually first housed two schools: the original Frankfort Junior High built in 1974 and the former Hickory Creek School which were joined by an indoor walkway and addition in 1995.  The school then became known as Hickory Creek Middle School until 2006.

Chelsea Intermediate and its two gyms are used for a majority of the park district’s athletic programs including: youth basketball, adult and youth volleyball and indoor youth soccer.
