Main Park Ice Rinks
Two ice rinks will be open at Main Park this winter for skating! One designated for free/open skating, and the other for hockey. The rinks will open when the ice is ready and safe (when the weather permits). Concessions and skate/snow shoe rental will also be available at the north concession building.
As of Monday, February 20 - both ice rinks are closed due to the warmer weather.
Hours:
Monday – Saturday: 7 am – 9 pm
Sunday: 7am – 7 pm
Skate at your own risk.

Saturdays 1:00 – 9:00 pm
Sundays 1:00 – 7:00 pm
Ice Skate Rentals $3/pair*
Snowshoe Rental $5/pair

The rinks will also be available for permitting on Friday and Saturday nights from 9-10pm and Sundays from 7-8pm for $40. The rinks will be available for permitting during winter break Mon.- Sat. 9-10pm and Sundays from 7-8pm. For additional information, please call the Park District office at 815.469.9400
Sled Hill at Commissioners Park:
The Sled Hill, located at Commissioners Park, will open when there is enough snow. Lights will stay on until 9pm.
